What is Integrative Life Coaching?

As a Certified Integrative Life Coach, I first work with clients to identify and break through any limitations of the subconscious mind. I utilizes dynamic and conversational ways of influencing and guiding the unconscious for multi-level change to help clients define their vision, set challenging goals, create a plan of action, and achieve results. My coaching sessions are a blend of conversational hypnosis, Neuro Linguistics, and processes created from the latest research in Cognitive Neuroscience and Embodied Cognition.

Most coaching programs focus on the rational, analytical and very limited conscious mind. The majority of people are aware, consciously, of what they "should" be doing. We know, from the recent studies on the adaptive unconscious, that most issues are habituated patterns that have their roots in priming, cognitive biases and conditioning. I will help you access and change those programs to rewire the brain for the desired change and Peak Performance.

Some of the techniques I use during coaching sessions*:

Memory re-consolidation to change old programs

Priming the unconscious mind through language and environment

Conversational Hypnosis & NLP for neutralizing triggers

Conversational Regression for change

Self-directed Neuroplasticity to teach you to rewire your brain

Rapid techniques to change emotions and eliminate cravings and compulsions

Anti-procrastination protocol for motivation and long term goals

Creative inductions for deep trance conversations

Conscious/unconscious separation for deep level problem solving

Spatial and temporal language for shifting internal representations

Coaching Through Time: A recursive protocol for generative change

I’m certified as an Integrative Life Coach** by The International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT) and the Center for Integrative Hypnosis. When you are freed of your limitations, outdated beliefs, fears, and restrictive unconscious programs, success is inevitable.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes the alleviation of emotional and physical problems. It's administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that the magnetic impulses in our body result in the formation of a magnetic field around it. If your magnetic/energy field is low, then you are more likely to become ill or feel stress, and if it is high, you are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Reiki helps the whole person, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation, feelings of peace, security and well-being. Many have reported phenomenal results.

Reiki was in use in hospital operating rooms as early as the mid-1990's. Since then its acceptance in medicine has grown. It is now listed in a nursing "Scope and Standards of Practice" publication as an accepted form of care, and a 2008 USA Today article reported that in 2007 15% of U.S. hospitals (over 800) offered Reiki as a regular part of patient services. For a detailed description of 64 Reiki hospital programs, please go to www.centerforreikiresearch.org

Scientific Validation: A research study at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut indicates that Reiki improved patient sleep by 86%, reduced pain by 78%, reduced nausea by 80%, and reduced anxiety during pregnancy by 94%.

Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe way to mitigate physical symptoms and enrich self-improvement. It's been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. Reiki works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

Reiki is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to receive, learn, or use Reiki.

What is Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)?

Neuro Linguistic Programming™ was specifically created to allow us to do the miraculous by generating new ways of understanding how verbal and non-verbal communication affect the human brain. It presents us all with the opportunity to not only communicate better with others, but to learn how to gain more control over what we considered to be automatic functions of our own neurology.

NLP is an ever-growing collection of information and insights into how people function. There are a wide range of mental NLP Techniques that enable us to improve how you think, behave and feel.

NLP has been described as the technology of the mind, the science of achievement, and the study of success. It's based on the study of the factors which account for either success or failure in human performance. For over 40 years, NLP explorers have studied or "modeled" the behavior and thinking styles of particularly effective and successful people in business, education, sales, therapy, sports, and personal development.

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a behavioral technology, which simply means that it is a set of guiding principles, attitudes, and techniques about real-life behavior. It allows you to change, adopt or eliminate behaviors as you desire, and gives you the ability to choose your mental, emotional, and physical states of well-being. With NLP, you learn how to grow from every single life experience, thus increasing your ability to create a better quality of life.

NLP is a pragmatic technology based on an ability to produce your desired results, to create your future. Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, J.K. Rowling, Heston Blumenthal, Tiger Woods, Bill Gates, Russell Brand, Lily Allen, Oprah Winfrey, Tony Robbins, Sophie Dahl, and Jimmy Carr are some people who use or have used NLP for their own development and success.

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT (commonly referred to as Tapping or EFT Tapping), is a universal tool that can provide impressive results for physical, emotional, and performance problems. EFT operates on the premise that no matter what part of your life needs improvement, there are unresolved emotional issues in the way. Even for physical issues, chronic pain, or diagnosed conditions, it is common knowledge that any kind of emotional stress can impede the natural restorative ability of the human body.

EFT, in many cases, can be applied directly to physical symptoms for relief without exploring any emotional contributors. However, for the most powerful, longest lasting results, related emotional issues should be identified and targeted.

While acupuncture and acupressure primarily focus on physical ailments, EFT applies this ancient process to ease emotional issues. This provides benefits for performance and physical issues.

While related to acupuncture, EFT does not use needles. Instead, a simple process wherein you (1) mentally "tune in" to specific issues while (2) stimulating certain meridian points on the body by tapping on them with your fingertips. When properly done, EFT appears to balance disturbances in the meridian system.

The more unresolved emotional issues you can clear, the more peace and emotional freedom you will have in your life. EFT can be an ongoing process used to clear out the old traumas, and welcome any new challenges with a healthy, productive attitude.
